Our LED Edison Bulbs collection is organized by the shape and style of the bulbs.

  • The LED Edison bulb shape features the original teardrop shape of the Edison bulbs.  This shape is available in 2 sizes. The bigger bulb is known as ST21 or ST64 which is 5.5 inches in length and the smaller size is known as ST19 or ST58 and is 5 inches in length.
  • The Globe-shaped Edison LED has a diameter of 3.125 inches and a length of 4.5 inches.  These bulbs are also known as G25 globe bulbs.
  • The tubular and radio-shaped bulbs are long and narrow, just like a tube. The shortest medium base tubular filament LED bulb is 5 inches in length and the longest is about 12 inches in length. Smaller tubular bulbs are available only with the smaller candelabra base, like the T6 Filament LED which is 3.370 inches in length.
  • The Victorian-shaped bulbs are the standard household bulbs you are very familiar with which are also known as A-shaped bulbs. As in A19, the most popular light bulb for use in a table or floor lamps.
  • The chandelier LED bulbs are where you’ll find our Candelabra E12 base LED Filament bulbs.  They have a smaller base which usually fits in chandeliers, wall sconces, and many outdoor fixtures.
  • The sign S14 filament LED’s go in patio string lights and of course signs.  Those are all medium E26 base bulbs.
  • Half Bowl LED Bulbs are great for downlight pendants over a table or an island. They reflect the light back upward, eliminating the glare of direct light over the area. The bottom of the bulb looks like it was dipped in silver or gold halfway.

As we make the switch to LED Edison bulbs there are some very important facts we must understand about LED lights. See our Edison LED Bulb Buying Guide for all that fun stuff.

  • Enclosed Fixture Rated: Not all LED filament bulbs are suitable for enclosed fixtures. Even though those bulbs do not produce much heat, the enclosed fixtures entrap the heat and shorten the life of the bulbs by overheating them. To use filament LED bulbs in enclosed fixtures you should look for bulbs that are specifically designed for this purpose.
